Mutandini Karl ist das Soloprojekt von Charlotte (von Les Trucs) am Juno-60 begleitet vom Drumulator und wahlweise einem Doppelgängerinnenchor oder einer Playback- Tanzgruppe.

So Slow Pop Dansante würde Pierre sagen, düstere Ohrwurm Synthsongs und mit einem Bein wackeln, während die Kontaktlinsen rollen.

Klaus Nomi tanzt mit Nico zu Deux und die haben vielleicht Bananen geraucht.

Mutandini Karl spielte in Garagen, Clubs und Museen, zusammen mit La Femme, Umberto, Kommando Sonne-nmilch… und das seit 2013.

Am 24. und 25. April findet im großen Ernst-Wellenfeld-Synthese-Saal des Golden Pudel Clubs unter dem Namen E-Pudel der seit 1921 unter fürstlicher Protektion stehende E-Pudel statt. Diese oberirdischen Musiktage konzentrieren sich auch im 93. Jahr ihres Bestehens vorrangig auf Vertreter, die sich über ihr musikalisches Tun hinaus in anderen Metiers äußern

und von den geplatzen Wechseln der Disziplinen profitieren. Im Zentrum stehen dabei nicht die heile Welt hybriden oder transdisziplinären Großgescheppers

als vielmehr spezialisierte Produkte mit maximaler Reichweite, wie Frequenzreizung, Zahngoldkopien oder Obertonfälschung der jeweiligen Kunstsparte.

RYAN JORDAN

 

On the 4th of December Mika Vainio brings his colossal sonic explorations to the dark underbelly of the Stubnitz. Originally as half of the Finnish duo Pan Sonic, Mika Vainio has been creating bass heavy sound since the mid nineties. The form is varied whether it is abstract drone or avant minimal techno, his sound is distinctive due to its analogue warmth and electronic harshness. He has released on labels like editions Mego, Touch, Wavetrap and Sähkö and has been producing with Alan Vega of Suicide, Keiji Haino, Chicks on Speed, John Duncan and Bruce Gilbert.

 

Featured on the same night is London Noise producer Ryan Jordan. A graduate from the infamous Goldsmiths University Jordans sound is harsh and explorative. Creating his own genres such as ‚Possession Trance‘ and ‚Retro-Death-Telegraphy‘ Jordan uses a wide array of machinery to openly confront the audiences interaction with the Outside.

The Durian Brothers (Diskant/FatCat)

German trio The Durian Brothers are Stefan Schwander, Mark Matter and Florian Meyer. They play two pairs of Technics 1210s, prepared with elastic bands, sticky tape and Post-it notes, with Schwander on a sequencer and delay pedal, looping and layering sounds to create polyrhythmic patterns.

The trio live in Brussels, Düsseldorf and Karlsruhe, and meet for a day at a time to record music. Previous to their current split release with Ekoplekz’s turntablist moniker on FatCat, they have also released a series of EPs under their own label, Diskant.
